It used to be my favorite store but now this has changed... all the new self checkout stations and only two for human cashiers, nobody to attend them, and the lady that was on the floor made me feel like I was a burden for not wanting to use the self checkout. What is happening to humanity?? Are the store managers forgetting that it is the people who made a business successful? On top of this no longer public washrooms!!!! With the amount of time and money I spend at this store on almost monthly basis, I would like to be able to use a washroom when I need it.

I’ve had three awful encounters with Sherri now. (The elderly grumpy lady from the other poor reviews) 1) The till was unattended for nearly 10 minutes of us standing there, and Sherri comes back with a couple and makes me remove my items off the counter I been waiting at and pushes us back. (December 19th around 7pm) 2) Boxing Day - I had two order tags in the slot, and one bag in the bin with a hole punch I ordered online. I also grabbed 9 Terra cotta that she had to scan on top that and had like 16 skeins bagged in the classroom and I gave her my ticket, she rung everything through. My sons telling her how many blankets I’ve made so far basically just bragging about me to her and she completely disregarded my son who was so proud to buy more yarn with me. Didn’t even acknowledge him. Then she stood there staring at me (as I’m silently now waiting for her to grab my yarn out of the back) and she’s like we’ll have a good day.. I’m like I just gave you a ticket for yarn I have in the back and she’s like oh? Grabs it’s and goes to grab the yarn. We get out to the truck and we can see her in the window with her arms crossed pacing back and forth clearly angry about something. 3) Saturday , I went in with my son to get more yarn and I’m at self checkout and she stops brooming and just stands behind me staring at my every move so I turned around and I’m like “Can I help you?” And she’s like no, I’m just waiting to sweep there. 😑 So I gave it to her, I told her she can continue sweeping and I don’t need you breathing down my neck. The girl at the till accompanying Sherri up front I am exhausted by running into such an ignorant person in my favourite store. There is two staff members who aren’t pleasant, but everyone else is fantastic. Sherri should be in the back, and not in the front with the general public. I have anxiety thinking about bumping into her now.

Accidentally went into the bathroom with my unpaid items (my mistake). The framing manager Nellie followed me in and said I cant do that, I apologized and gave her the items. After I left the washroom I grabbed my items from the counter apologized again and went to find my friends so we could pay and leave. That manager then proceeded to follow me around the store as I looked for my friends then kick us out saying she "did not like our shopping habits". Absolutely ridiculous. I did not do anything wrong, I was not stealing, I made an honest mistake, apologized for it and got treated like a criminal for it. And I did not get the specific items I went there for. Like seriously? The people that used to work there were so nice, what happened?
